ABOUT US
Over nearly 50 years and thousands of projects, we have participated in the evolution of Los Angeles and the surrounding counties. From performance venues and museums to high-rise residential towers and hotels, we take pride in our contribution to the projects that make Los Angeles what it is today.
HOW WE STARTED
In 1974, after many years of estimating and managing projects for others, David Morales, together with his wife Cecilia, took on their first job, a single family home that was paid on a payment plan. In 1976, their effort became Borbon, Inc., named as a tribute to the Borbon family who raised David after his mother passed away. Through the 1970's, the company continued to paint new construction tract housing until it grew to focus on large scale commercial projects.
Today, Borbon, Inc., has vast capabilities in commercial, light industrial, residential, mixed-use, hospitality and more. With over 200 employees, it is one of the largest and most capable painting and finishing contractors in Southern California. The company is family owned and operated and is a certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE).
